Shed, Garage and Carport Pack

Check the rules, compare the whole job, build it right.

A shed kit price is rarely the whole price, and a small structure still has real rules about where it goes, the wind conditions it’s designed for, and the slab it sits on.

The Shed, Garage and Carport Pack helps you check approvals and siting before you buy, compare kit, supply-and-build and builder quotes on the same basis, make sure the slab matches the structure, and finish with the right paperwork.

It doesn’t manage your project or replace professional advice. Instead, it helps you become more organised, more prepared and clearer about what to ask, compare and clarify at each step.

What's included — seven practical tools plus a Start Here guide, designed to work together

• 00 · Start Here: Shed, Garage and Carport Pathway — Understand the pack, where to begin, and how the tools work together.
• 01 · Brief and Site Worksheet — Describe what you want and what you know about the site, so every quote covers the same thing.
• 02 · Quote Comparison Workbook — Compare kit, supply-and-build and builder quotes on the same basis, and turn gaps into questions.
• 03 · Approvals, Siting and Rules Check — Check approvals, setbacks and site rules early, before you buy or sign.
• 04 · Kit, Slab and Structure Record — Record the design, slab and kit details, and check the delivery before it’s built.
• 05 · Allowance and Variation Log — Track allowances, changes and delays, with cost, time and written approval.
• 06 · Stage Check and Defects Record — Check work before it’s covered, and track defects and incomplete items to close.
• 07 · Handover, Care and Warranties Checklist — Collect certificates and warranties, and set up a simple care schedule.
